Every event takes place at Penha Longa Resort, a fourteenth-century monastery turned resort in the hills between Sintra and the coast. We’ve reserved a block of rooms for the weekend, so you can stay right where everything happens.

Most guests will fly into Lisbon (LIS) and arrive on Thursday, though Friday works too. Our travel guide covers when to arrive, getting from the airport to the resort, and what to know before you land.

Most guests are arriving on Thursday, May 13. If you can only make it on Friday, that’s fine too: the Haldi is a relaxed daytime gathering, so just aim to be here for the Sangeet that evening.
Each event has its own dress code, from sunny yellows at the Haldi to Western formal at the reception on Saturday night. Our attire guide has ideas and colors for each.
